One Transact license enables Commerce Service Providers (we also call them CSPs) to operate multiple stores and enables companies with multiple business units to leverage one common infrastructure.

Transact's high-volume, high-transaction ecommerce engine can handle all the transactions and business rules for thousands of different website stores. Transact gives CSPs the ability to share buyer profile credentials across all of the CSP’s merchant stores, making check-out seamless and easy across one website or many, using single checkout and one shopping cart across different stores.

Commerce Service Provider Program

Soverain’s CSP program is designed to leverage the flexibility, scalability and security of Transact while enabling our CSP partners to extend this value to their merchant customers on an ISP basis.

The CSP program includes an up-front Transact license fee and monthly fees based on a percentage of actual revenue from the CSP’s merchant customers, plus annual support fees. There are two levels to the CSP program:

  • Full CSP license, with an unlimited of CSP customers
  • Starter CSP license, with a fixed number of CSP customers

Under the CSP program, a Starter CSP license can be upgraded to a Full CSP license for a fee at any time. Both levels require monthly fees based on the CSP’s actual revenues from its merchant customers. The CSP provides Level 1 support to their merchant customers and the merchants’ end-customers, while Soverain provides Level 2 and 3 support. Support for Transact core functionality includes business-day and off-hour support via phone, email and chat, as well as access to Soverain’s comprehensive online knowledgebase.
